FALL RETREAT - Information & Survey
PLEASE NOTE – HEALTH GUIDELINES MAY CHANGE, AND WE WILL NEED TO BE FLEXIBLE WITH RESPECT TO THIS EVENT.
While working on logistics for a possible Fall 2020 Quilt Retreat, scheduled for November 10- 15, 2020, I have the following information: As of now, Cedar Lakes is open to groups for meetings. Their staff has informed me that current CDC guidelines, WV guidelines and all protocols are to be followed during the retreat. Should the retreat happen in November, the following guidelines are to be followed (but could be subject to change):
1. Only one (1) person per table.
2. All tables facing the same direction.
3. Masks to be worn.
4. Work areas to be sanitized on a regular basis (by staff and possibly our group as well).
5. All shared food will need to be individually wrapped or packaged.
As I weigh the pros and cons of holding the November retreat, I need your input immediately. These times are unprecedented. Each of you and your families must consider all options. This pandemic has certainly changed the way we do things and think about doing things. We have our health and our loved ones’ health to consider also. You can respond by phone, email, message or text to the address at the bottom of this article. I would like all those who have attended previous retreats or those who wish to attend to respond. Two questions — Either way I would like to hear from you:
1. Yes, I plan to attend the November retreat, understanding that guidelines must be followed. OR
2. No, I will not attend a Fall Retreat.
When responding, please make sure to give your name. I need your response by September 10, 2020 in order to make appropriate plans.
