The WVQI Spring Quilt Retreat is scheduled for March 17-22, 2020. The Fall Retreat was a full house with some newbies joining us. Lots of Christmas floating around for gifts and decorations - a great time for all!
Cedar Lakes has implemented some changes beginning in 2020. In previous years, our group was not charged for our “sewing/quilting” rooms; we paid only for our meals and lodging. With increased costs to Cedar Lakes, all groups are now required to pay a rental fee for each meeting room/building used. Our retreats have always been self-sustaining, with no cost to the WVQI general budget. In order to continue with our retreats, there will now be a non-refundable $10 registration fee per quilter. Whether coming for 1 day or 6, the fee is $10.00. Due to the cost of the buildings, the Spring Retreat must have a minimum of 25 participants to continue. The Fall Retreat is always full; however, the Spring Retreat has always been smaller. The Due Date for Spring Retreat Registration is March 1 2020. If you have any questions feel free to contact me.
