Greenbrier Classic Golf Tournament

The Greenbrier Classic Badges for Charity program deadline has been extended until April 30, 2010.“Over 100 charities are participating in Badges for Charity and each time someone purchases a badge and selects their favorite organization, 30% of the proceeds go to that organization. So not only are you purchasing weekly access to what will be the best event on the PGA TOUR, but you are also benefiting a worthy cause,” said Jim Justice, owner and chairman of The Greenbrier. “Also, we’ll be announcing soon two great concerts that will also be a part of The Greenbrier Classic and the only way to see the concert is with a weekly badge.”

Through this effort, registered 501(c)(3) organizations earn 30% of the proceeds from each badge purchased on their behalf. The weekly badges for the event range from $147 to $5,000 each. Badges may be purchased online at www.greenbrierclassic.com or at The Greenbrier Classic Official Tournament Store in the resort’s lower level shop corridor.

The Greenbrier Classic, which will be held July 26 – August 1, 2010, will be played on the historic, links-style Old White, The Greenbrier’s first 18-hole course. In preparation for the nationally televised tournament, minimal course modifications are underway to add several new tees and enhance the practice facility.
